I knew I kept all those mason jars for a reason!

There's something about waking up to some cold brew ready to go in the fridge ☕️. My first time making it didn't go so well (don't use cheap coffee filters to strain it!), but now that I have a reusable filter, I'll be cold brewin' all summer long.

Cold Brew Coffee

  • 4 cups water
  • 2/3 cup ground coffee (any kind will work, depending on your filter)
  • a pinch of cinnamon (not necessary!) 
  • Ice

In a large mason jar, stir together water, coffee and cinnamon. Cover, place in fridge for ~ 12 hours (the longer, the stronger your brew). When ready, pour the coffee mixture through a filter (reusable coffee filter, cheesecloth etc.) and over ice. Add milk, cream and sweeteners to taste. Mine was perfect with a splash of almond milk.

Makes 2-3 servings.
